Jersey Gods no. 3 is out this week and, hyperbole aside, I really believe this is the best of the run. I'm reasonably pleased with the first two issues, but I think from the last few pages of no. 2 the series kicks into a different gear. So if you like any of the following things:
retro-chic artwork
fun characters and zippy plotting
some of the best damn colouring on the racks
superhero comics
superhero comics with a bit of romance
duelling space gods
the song "I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper"
anything awesome
Give it a try. This issue, we also have an absolutely cracking back-up strip from messrs Mark Waid and Joe Infurnari. I've read it and it's disgustingly good.
$3.30 at all good comics retailers, but you can read the first few pages for free RIGHT HERE.

Hey Danny, I shot you an email over a week ago, man. I need your updated shipping address!
On JerseyGods- I've got issue2 burning a hole in my pocket. I haven't read it yet because my place couldn't get me a copy of issue1. So i'm holding off on reading them until I can start off from the beginning. I've been waiting on some SLOW ass shipping from an online outfit...I'm gonna have issue3 before issue1.
I haven't even got issue 2 yet: Ace sold out of it and sent me a note saying they had to reorder to to unforeseen high demand. That's got to be good, right?
Yeah, this is all great news - 'cept for people who actually want to read the thing. Mark, email me and I'll see if I can sort you out.
Woohoo!
Lurella's still....can i cut her to bits?

I love "I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper." I prefer the version by U2. Long before they wrote songs for the Spider-Man musical.
Looks awesome, I'll have to begin to check it out. Somehow.
