I love how the chiming harpsichord bit echoes that sixties, Avengers-ish vibe. And there aren't many women who are as effortlessly cool as Diana Rigg's Emma Peel, but Chrissie Hynde comes damn close. T'riffic. (though I seem to remember a version of this video with more Avengers clips in it - have I lost my mind?)

Oh hell yes! Diana Rigg was awesome but there was something almost other worldly about Ms Hynde.

You've never seen the Avengers? You know how the Doctor and Christina Frapuccino-Jones are kind of flirtily bantering with each other in Planet of the Dead? Well imagine that, but well-acted and better written, with a dose of sixties surreality and some frothy espionage antics, and that's the essence of the Avengers.
If it's the Pretenders you don't get, then I'm afraid I can't help you. :)

definitely I gonna wait for the new Avengers movie, allegedly coming to 2012 but before Marvel have to launch Thor, to close the circle of heroes.
most people think that Defenders is like the base take it to create the Avengers, but are two different groups with some members in common.
I officially can�t hold out for this smart phone, just 2 days remaining and I simply hope I could get my hands on one,. I have been reading a lot about the Android two.2 update that can come in August, simply another reason to be psyched about this excellent phone. Motorola and Verizon say they will update the phone to Android 2.2 late summer. It will certainly be an over-the-air update. However out-of-the box on its July 15 launch it will probably have Android 2.1.
